The grant round has just been completed and the Hyundai Foundation has distributed a total of CZK 1,116,800 to the fifteen selected projects. In eight years of activity, the fund has donated more than fifteen and a half million crowns, distributed among a total of 105 projects in the districts of Nový Jičín and Frýdek-Místek in the Moravian-Silesian region.

“We received a total of 62 applications this year, of which we selected 15 projects that best meet the set criteria. I believe that successful implementation of selected and supported projects will contribute to enriching the lives of local people and further improve awareness of HMMC as a socially responsible company, ”said Petr Michník, head of the legal department of HMMC and also a company representative on the Foundation Fund committees.

Some of the project supported this were the Czech Union for Nature Conservation, the Volunteer Fire Brigade Český Těšín – Horní Žukov, the Junák – Czech Boy Scouts, the Ondrášek Mobile Hospice, the Beskydy Czech Tourist Club and the Elementary School in Dobrá.
