Hyundai Nošovice will support
events in the region. Grants
will help athletes, children,
the disabled and culture

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) will also support regional sports, culture and projects dedicated to children and the disabled this year. Thanks to the 7th edition of the Together 2022 grant program, applicants can receive up to CZK 20,000 for their projects. In total, the Nošovice car manufacturer plans to distribute CZK 800,000 to applicants, which is one-fifth more than in previous years.

Hyundai Nošovice launched the Together grant program for the first time in 2016. Individuals and legal entities can apply, but the condition for receiving support is that HMMC employees who have been working at the company for at least one year must be actively or passively involved in the projects. Employees can thus enter a non-profit organization of their choice in the grant procedure each year and receive up to CZK 20,000. Last year, the Nošovice automotive company recorded a record interest in the grant program – a total of 95 proposals were received, and 38 projects were recommended for support for a total of CZK 661,900. The largest part of the money was granted for projects for children and sports.

The grant program is made up of four pillars – in the Together for Children category, projects will support leisure activities and the development of children’s creativity, while in the Together without Barriers section, the money from the grant program will support the activities of organizations focused on helping the disabled or purchasing aids and special equipment. Another category of the program – Together Culturally – will support cultural and social events or the renovation of cultural monuments. And the Together for Sport category will provide financial support to organizers of domestic and international competitions in the region, as well as to young athletes. Grant recipients must implement their projects on the territory of the Moravian-Silesian Region.

“Over the six years of the grant program, we have had the opportunity to get to know many great people and non-profit organizations that dedicate their time to children, the disabled, culture or sport. Supporting the region is one of the key pillars of our sustainability direction and an integral part of our corporate strategy. I am really glad that the Together grant program is helping where it should – in our region, where we belong,” said Barbora Hermanová, Head of Public Relations at HMMC. The minimum grant amount per project is CZK 5,000, and the maximum amount that can be applied for is CZK 20,000. HMMC will contribute up to a maximum of 50% of the eligible costs. Grant applications can be submitted exclusively online at hyundai.grantys.cz until the 31st of March. The supported projects will be selected by a committee of HMMC employees and experts. The company plans to distribute a total of CZK 800,000 among the applicants. The results from previous years can be found on the HMMC website (hyundai-motor.cz/grantovy-program-2).
