Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech is a proud winner of the National Quality Award in the Excellence category. Our joy over this success is even greater because we were the first company in the Czech Republic to win the award for the third time. Since the award has been valid for three years, we have been proud of this title since 2011. We defended it in 2014 and 2017 and also in 2020. We value the highest prizes of Excellence as it is a confirmation of our quality and enduring work.

Hyundai i30 N won „Sport Auto Award“
Hyundai i30 N was awarded as „Sport Auto Award“ in readers’ poll of magazine Sport Auto in category of „Compact cars up to 35 000 €“ in sub-category „Import“ and defeated in total 275 models.
Hyundai i30 Fastback N is „Auto Bild Sports Car of the Year“
German magazine Auto Bild hold a poll for readers “Auto Bild Sports Cars”. 110 models was in a final in five categories last year. Hyundai i30 Fastback N won the category of small and compact cars by defeating 13 other models.
The best imported family car of 2019
The compact Hyundai Tucson SUV won the famous readers’ poll of the weekly “Bild am Sonntag”. Hyundai Tucson, which is produced in Nošovice near Frýdek-Místek, defeated 16 international competitors. The evaluation families appreciated the feeling of generous space, variability, active safety and mobile phone integration in the final testing.
Hyundai Tuscon won prestigious award J.D. Power
Hyundai Tucson won in the class of compact SUV in German part of prestigious competition J. D. Power. In American study J. D. Power IQS this model won the second place among premium brands for the second year in a row. Tucson also held the third place in overall evaluation of all brands. Owners of Hyundai cars reported three problems less for 100 cars than in 2018.
IIHS
For the second year in a row, Hyundai has the largest number of TSP + and TSP ratings in the automotive industry. Hyundai offers ten new models, which were awarded the TOP SAFETY PICK + (KONA 2019, Elantra – cars manufactured after September 2018; Sonata and Sonata Hybrid and Santa Fe) and TOP SAFETY PICK (Elantra GT) by an independent American organization IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) , IONIQ Hybrid, IONIQ Plug-in Hybrid, Accent, Santa Fe XL and Tucson (available with optional front-collision avoidance and specific headlights).
Auto Bild
The German magazine Auto Bild awarded Hyundai Tucson a perfect 100,000 km long test. The popular Tucson, produced in Nošovice near Frýdek-Místek, was rated A- and became the third best-rated SUV ever. At the end of the test, Auto Bild emphasizes that those who manufacture cars such as the Hyundai Tucson can easily provide a five-year warranty.
What Car?
The most reliable family car
The prestigious British magazine What Car? announced a poll in which over 18,000 people appreciated the reliability of their family cars. The results then determined the most and least reliable. The clear winner was the Hyundai i30, whose reliability reached 98.9%.
Auto Bild
During its first year of sale, the Hyundai i30 N convinced Auto Bild Sportscars readers of its outstanding qualities. The compact sports car was awarded the prestigious title “Imported Winner” in the category of small and compact cars in the “Sports Cars of the Year 2018” survey. The first high-performance Hyundai model has succeeded in the competition of seven well-established models, produced for example by Honda, Peugeot and Renault.
Autocar
The Hyundai i30 N was declared a “breakthrough car” in the annual Autocar poll, which recognizes the best cars presented in the past twelve months. The British motoring magazine Autocar called the Hyundai i30 N a car that sets new standards in the automotive industry.
Auto Zeitung – Design Trophy 2018
Readers of the German motoring magazine Auto Zeitung have chosen the most attractive vehicle in the compact class in the Design Trophy 2018 Hyundai i30 Fastback. 13 351 readers of the German motoring magazine Auto Zeitung voted in a poll in which they chose the currently best cars in six categories.
iF Design Award
Hyundai Kona and Hyundai i30 Fastback won the iF Design Award this year, earning their first design success shortly after their launch. iF DESIGN AWARD is awarded annually by the world’s oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover.
What Car? Awards
Hyundai Motor won a total of four awards in the annual “What Car? Car of the Year Awards ”, including three awards for unrivalled alternative drives. Hyundai was awarded the “Technology Award” for its pioneering work on battery-powered electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The groundbreaking i30 N then won the title “Best Sharp Hatchback for £ 22,000 to £ 27,000” thanks to driving pleasure and extremely generous standard equipment.
Hyundai is recognized as the best sports car in Germany
i30 Fastback N and i30 N received further awards from prestigious German motoring magazines. i30 Fastback N became Auto Bild Sports of the Year title in December, just days after i30 N won the Sport Auto Award poll by Sport Auto magazine. The i30 N also won the 2018 Auto Bild Sports Car of the Year poll.
