The Hyundai Endowment Fund was established in 2007 on the basis of a Declaration of Understanding signed by representatives of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech, the Moravian-Silesian Region, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the CzechInvest agency, the Frank Bold Society, Půda pro život, Děti Země and Beskydčan.
For the first time in the history of the Czech Republic, it was possible to conclude such a comprehensive agreement with a multinational corporation before the construction of the production halls began.
Our company contributed 20 million CZK to the Endowment Fund at its inception and continues to contribute more than 1 million CZK to it each year.
The company strives to fulfill these visions through the support of community projects implemented especially in the areas of the former districts of Frýdek-Místek and Nový Jičín, which are concerned both with the protection and improvement of the environment and with transparency of public administration or public access to decision-making.
However, the Endowment Fund does not want and cannot neglect the areas of education and human rights protection, which are the pillar of all democratically functioning open societies, whose development the Endowment Fund wants to contribute by its activities.
