• Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) already produces all types of cars of the unique i30 model line – Hatchback, Fastback and Wagon. All of them also in a sporty version of the N Line
• The new Hyundai i30 comes with a modernised design, new technology and new power units, including an optional 48V mild hybrid delivered on request
• Since the production at HMMC started in 2008, the popular C-segment model already has more than 1.17 million cars manufactured at HMMC which are intended mainly for European customers

Nošovice, 23 June 2020 – Exactly one month after the production of the first cars of the new Hyundai i30 started, a complete model line, including the sporty designed N Line cars, is coming off the production line of the Nošovice car manufacturer. The Fastback N Line was the last model incorporated into production. Its first piece, which is intended for the German market, was produced on Monday, 22 June.
The new Hyundai i30 is an innovated third-generation car. The car manufacturer started producing the first one in November 2008. And it was the i30 model, which then became the first car produced by the new plant. “In 11 and a half years, we have already produced 1,170,000 pieces in Nošovice. We produce the i30 model line in all modifications, especially for European markets. Last year, these cars most often travelled to Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and Poland,” added Miroslav Jasiok, head of the production subdivision at HMMC. The shortest version of the Hatchback beats the Wagon and Fastback versions when it comes to popularity of bodies. Outside Europe, these cars go to Morocco, New Zealand and Singapore, for example. In total, the Hyundai i30 from Nošovice can be found in more than 40 countries.
The preparation of the innovated car took one year
Before the innovated model comes off the plant’s production line, the employees of the car manufacturer’s special team spend about a year preparing its production and the test drivers tune the new model up to perfection. During test drives, they cover hundreds of thousands of kilometres in various parts of Europe. “Our new Hyundai i30 has acquired a new attractive exterior and interior design, with a number of new modern elements of safety and connectivity. We have also prepared an offer of new motors and transmissions for customers, and a 48V semi-hybrid drive is also available on request,” says Martin Klíčník, head of the quality subdivision, which manages the preparation and testing of new models. The production of the most popular version of the Wagon in the Czech Republic, also in the sporty version of the N Line, and the option of ordering a 48V partially hybrid drive is an important change for customers. Attractive news will increase the interest of customers
“The new Hyundai i30 can be described as more elegant, safer, more modern and more economical. Such attractive novelties and innovations attract the attention and interest of customers. With a suitably constructed offer that we have prepared for them, we believe that such aspects will be a strong motivation for the purchase of our new cars,” adds Martin Saitz, CEO of Hyundai Motor Czech. Miroslav Jasiok also believes that the new model will attract customers. “Today, this is another impulse for the market, which should bring us a little closer to the standard volume of production.”

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC)
